Daniel Fowler b. 1685 Kings Stanley (General)

by Susan_King @, Thursday, October 20, 2022, 23:42 (797 days ago)

I'm looking for information on Daniel Fowler, b. 1685 in Kings Stanley. I believe he died 1730, also in Kings Stanley.

There are a few Daniel Fowlers who died about that time in Kings Stanley and I'm trying to sort them out. I have a burial in 1726/7, another in 1730, and another in 1756.

Does anyone have wills for any of these deaths?

Or, has anyone done any work on any of these Daniel Fowler's?

Thank you for all of your responses. It is the Daniel who married Sarah Clutterbuck that I am trying to figure out a death date for and hopefully find a will.

It looks like I may have to visit the library and get the wills off of Ancestry at the very least. I have noticed how many ways Kings Stanley seems to be spelled. Good suggestion to leave it out entirely here.

For some reason I seem not to be getting email notifications of forum replies, likely my error somewhere!

Yes, I saw these, it is where I got the deaths from in my original question. I'm trying to sort out which Daniel is which. I believe the one I want is the 1730 burial. You've helped me confirm there is a will for this one, I think.

Does "lord of the manor" mean that he owned Haywardsend House?

Thanks for these. One of the things I need to sort out is how the Daniell Fowler of Stonehouse relates to the Daniel Fowler of Kings Stanley. Not sure if I'll get there.
