Out of curiosity in Mitcheldean churchyard there is a large white marble tomb to William Collins MP for Warwick died in Cheltenham 1859 can anyone come up with a reason for him being buried in Mitcheldean

He was an MP for Warwick from 1837 to 1859 but how he came to be buried in Mitcheldean is a bit of a mystery I haven't seen his name mentioned in any old Forest industries of any kind,
Maybe his wife had some connection with Mitcheldean or even the Rector of Mitcheldean at the time of his death,

Can see like you no connection with the Rector who buried him but interesting to see that the Rector Charles Dighton had family connections
