Greetings folks,

Researching the TARLING family who lived at various locations along the northern periphery of the Forest between 1836 and 1890. Anyone familiar with the surname is invited to collaborate. I'll be pleased to hear from you.

Hi I did a little checking on Nathaniel Tarling b 1842 who in 1886 married Mary Virgo b 1866. My principal interest was their son Frederick b 28 Jul 1895 in Blakeney.
Frederick was adopted by the Jameses who lived in the railway cottage in Upper Soudley.

If any of this is of interest to you, by all means get in touch with me.

Hello Nick,

These are certainly my kin. Nathaniel Tarling was a ggg-uncle so his descendants are cousins of one form or another. I'm aware of the adoption though not of the circumstances that led to it. Frederick seems to have been dumped on them. Are you related to them at all?

We shared some info earlier this year under Frederick TARLING 1895 - 1968 Soudley
