Morgans from Coleford
Hi Jim
I have a connection with the Morgans from Coleford, it is believed that my step-fathers great-grandfather Thomas Morgan owned the opencast mines in coleford but lost them due to gambling.. and that his wife was a crippled seamstress to the court..
Proberbly heresay..
Regards Joanne

Hello Dobbsy, sorry for the great delay in response but I have been away researching my birth family in the borders of Scotland for a few years and not been back for quite some time. My Gran, the lady who I grew up with was Bessie Matilda Townsend nee Dobbs of Whitecroft b 1901. I am back working on my Dobbs again right now as I am helping a cousin with her offshoot kin so just had to visit one of the best forum web genealogy sites on the net hey:-)
I can be reaches at kithnkinconnect-at-shaw.ca
Would love to hear from you?
Cheers Slowhands for the great job you do:-)
