Pit death - John Whittington 1824 of St Briavels (Inquests)
April: And, at St Briavell's, on the body of JOHN WHITTINGTON, killed by a piece of rock falling upon him, while at work in a coal pit. Verdict, Accidental Death.
The only burial I can find is in 1826.
