Dear Betty, I was really interested to read your post. I am trying to trace my grandad Lawrence Butler who was born 1890 in the Forest of Dean. I wondered if you had ever heard of him, he said all his family were from round Cinderford, St Briavels, East Dean etc. He also sometimes used other first names or a knick name. He eventually moved to Derby and was married to my granny Annie. Any light shed would be of interest. Thank you
