My deepest apologies. This is the second time I have done something like this on this site and it must be irritating to see it happening again.

I had forgotten the previous thread - I think one of those things happened afterwards where I was not able to follow up the suggestions. I had really given up on finding an origin for Philip, but recently my interest has been revived by a researcher from Australia who is also trying to pin him down. We are both descended from the same Great Great Grandparents, Thomas and Sarah Hopkins. Thomas was a son of Philip. Our two Great Grandfathers were brothers.

I got revved up again by her contact, and forgot where I had got up to in previous enquiries.
