can anyone tell me if it was necessary to register still births in the 1800's if it was where can i find information on them please

I don't know whether this is of any help Pauline, but when I was looking at the Municipal Cemetery Records for another branch of my tree in Norfolk sadly I came across several burials of still births from my family. Maybe that could be a fruitful avenue of research. Good Luck

Still births did not need to be registered until 1927.The GRO website has more information on this.
