I am tracing the James line of my family tree. Does anyone have any information on a Maria James ,daughter of Thomas and Sarah James of Ayleford / Soudley. In 1881 she was a domestic servant living at Ayleford House. I believe she had a daughter Beatrice ( illegitimate) in 1886. In 1901 census Beatrice was a visitor in Soudley . Does anyone have any more information about them?
