William of William Wickenden Reverend, 1864
(copied from handwritten copy in
Gloucester Record Office).

This is the last will and testament of me William
Wickenden clerk BA of Etloe Villa near Blakeney in the
county of Gloucestershire. I hereby give and bequeath
unto my nephew William Wickenden Miller of Rendcomb
the sum of 100 pounds. To my nephew John Wickenden of
Ipsley Lodge near Redditch the sum of 100 pounds. To
my grand niece Sarah Wickenden daughter of John and
Sarah Wickenden of Ipsley Lodge aforesaid my house
situate at Etloe together with the furniture hushandry
implements pictures carriage harness and offices. To
my niece Mary Ann Matthews of 20 Waterloo Place West
Street Bristol my freehold field known as Common or
Caneys Fields situe near Etloe. To my grand nephew
William Wickenden son of William and Margaret
Wickenden of Rendcomb near Cirencester my field
situate near Nibley in the parish of Blakeney known as
Clarks Pool Fields or the Meadow. To Henry Hayward of
No. 6 Cleveland Grove Mille End London 100 pounds. To
Anne Byett at present living with me as housekeeper
daughter of John Evans the sum of 100 pounds. To Mary
Ann Amner[?] at present residing as Matron at Her
Majesty's Prison of Brixton Hill near London the sum
of 50 pounds. To my sister Ann Green at present
residing near Quenington in the county of
Gloucestershire 50 pounds. I hereby appoint Mr
Edmund Burrows and Henry Jeffs of Brittania Cottage
Gloucester to be executors of this my last will and
testament.

Will dated 19th January 1864.
