Hi
I have John Watkins (b c 1852) married to Sarah Ward (b c 1851), married at Parkend 1878- father to John is William Watkins,Collier - father to Sarah is George Ward, Collier.
On the 1851 census found this possible family for John.

I have to say I'm confused how they are Grateley's and Watkins?
Did Lucy remarry a Grately then, I wonder?
I'll have to have a really good look at all this to work it out.
The families of john and Sarah Watkins on the census are right, thank you.

It looks like they are using the name x WATKINS GREATLY from at least 1815, and then dropping the WATKINS in 1861 /71 ( just to confuse :-) )
