Im really stuck, ive searched endlessly through the parish records.
Looking for James Harris, father of William George Harris 1870.
witness at the son williams wedding are Samuel and Elizabeth Harris, I was thinking this was another son of James but I cannot find any Samuel or James or Elizabeth (whom may be a harris by marriage)and do not know the name of James wife either.
Can anyone help please.

Many Thanks for looking that up for me. I am at a total dead end now though
John and Elizabeth Harris.
I belive the marriage is that of John Harris and Elizabeth James 1811 although I could be wrong however witness are Sarah James and Abraham White
cannot find Abraham White at all but Sarah James married John Beach so theres another Beach connection.
Aside from Maria I cannot get any info on the rest of their siblings marrying and no info from the baptisms.
I cannot find baptism for John Harris, there are numerous John Harris and im basing his dob 1786 plus or minus 10 years as I dont belive he knew how old he was when he filled out the census. Elizabeth would be approx 10 years younger than him.
Abraham WHITE (witness)
by m p griffiths , Thursday, October 20, 2011, 20:28 (4779 days ago) @ itzjoolz
FOD records
Burial at Newnham - 8 June 1831 (c1778)
Abraham WHITE age 53
---
Baptism at Blakeney - 17 April 1815
Henry WHITE, parents Abraham & Anne
With so many WAITES and variations of in the FOD - Abraham's surname may evolved from
Marriage at NEWNHAM - 8 October 1809
Abraham WAIT/Sarah HAWKINS

LOL Thanks for that I wouldnt have thought of that being White. I think ive found Thomas wife married in 1845 to a Jane Cocks from cundiford! which could be relation to brother James wife Emma Cox. Witness at their wedding 1819 Thomas Simmonds and Susan Simmonds (Nee REICE)OMG!
Still struggling on John Harris and parents
