Great recommendation and I will definitely give it a try, as my husband and I plan to visit St Briavel's, hopefully before the year is out. All very new and revelatory to me as I hardly know the Forest of Dean, except that my Father, Hubert Hulin's sister Kit and her husband lived in Lydney and we spent Christmas there in 1954 when I was seven. From the little memory that I have, it is a beautiful area that you live in.

Well done on working out the relationship of Orpheus and Isaac (don't you just love the names they were given!) and it sounds very plausible that their Father were brothers.
