EDWARDS, Anthony born North Nibley 1794-1797 (General)
I've been trying to find more information on Anthony EDWARDS. All of the census records indicate that he was born in North Nibley, Gloucs, the variety of ages he gave say that he would have been born somewhere betw 1794 and 1797.
By 3 Sept 1816 he was in Calne, Wiltshire as he married ANGEL, Sarah there. His children were born in Wiltshire as well.
I've searched the Parish Records on this site but nothing was found for Anthony. Is anyone else searching the EDWARDS line and have information on Anthony? He was quite involved with the Wesleyan Methodist Church, should I be looking for records somewhere else?
Any assistance would be welcome.

'There is an 'old message' on Gloucestershire Rootsweb, about the EDWARDS family of North Nibley - 10 April 2006
'researching the Edwards family of North Nibley. Isaac and William EDWARDS married and settled in North Nibley in 1784 and 1788 respectively and John and Susanna had their first child in North Nibley in 1792. None of the three were born in North Nibley and...... am trying to find out where they came from. I do not know that they are related, although William's decendants include sons called Isaac which might indicate a link. At his wedding William is stated as being of Minety, but he was not born there. Isaac died in North Nibley in 1832 at the age of 80 so presumably was born circa 1752'

Thank you so much for the information. I hadn't been to the CLDS website for some time and had forgotten about it. Anthony and North Nibley has become a roadblock for me as I have no idea where to start looking for his ancestors. I guess that's what genealogy searching is all about though. I wish I lived in England so I could visit record depositories in person.
