Jane CROOME born about 1822 Woolaston (General)

Firstly, I am looking for help establishing exactly who my great, great grandmother Jane CROOME was! She was born around 1822 in Woolaston, Glos. - either her age varies considerably or I have the wrong one!

The facts are she married John Edward HELPS (born 1829 aged 19) in Bristol on 22 Mar 1848 when Jane was 24. According to their marriage certificate her father was John HELPS, a labourer. I believe they had only one child, a daughter Ellen HELPS 1849-1893, my great grandmother. The 1891 census lists her living in Bristol with her daughter, HELPS, Jane Mother In Law Widow F 73 1818 Woolasten Monmouthshire Gloucestershire. She died in Bristol in 1908 aged 83.

Unless anyone knows differently, I presume this may be her baptism in the FOD parish records:
Record_ID: 73813 Entry_Number: 232 Year: 1822 Month: Aug Day: 23
Parents_Surname: CROOME
Child_Forenames: Jane

Officiating_Minister: C Bryan
Event: Baptism
Memoranda: Daughter of
Notes: Register_Reference: P376 IN 1/4 Page_Number: 29

Secondly, I am looking for help finding John Edward and Jane HELPS on the 1851 census. I can track them back by census to 1841 and in 1861 when all three were living in Bristol; Jane being described as a char woman or domestic servant. But I can't find either of them anywhere on the 1851 census when they would have been married for 2 or 3 years - can anyone else find them please?

1841 Census:
Address: Bowlash Parish Of Woollaston, Woollaston

EDWARDS, Thomas M 25 1816 Gloucestershire
EDWARDS, Mary Ann F 30 1811 Gloucestershire
EDWARDS, Ann F 8 1833 Gloucestershire

CROOME, Jane F 20 1821 Gloucestershire
RG number: HO107 Piece: 369 Book/Folio: 4 Page: 2 Registration District: Chepstow Sub District: Lydney Civil Parish: Woollaston County: Gloucestershire

I would appreciate any assistance or to hear from anyone who has researched or has connections with the CROOME or HELPS families. Thank you in advance!

Brilliant slowhands, thank you so much!

I thought I had exhausted all the different spellings possible in 1851, I've been trying for ages! But I hadn't reckoned on Ellen Helps from Woolaston being called Ann from Olveston with two 'l's two 'p's !! You are clever x

Thank you for also letting me know you think I'm on the right track, I can carry on with parents now. Thanks again.

Sometimes all it takes is a fresh pair of eyes - bless the Enumerator who probably didin't know that Woolaston was just across the River from Olveston / Alveston.....
