Jovial Colliers Inn , Ruardean Woodside, Old Maps Website (General)

I can remember going into this pub after we'd visited my grandparents at Ruardean Woodside. My Grandad would walk back to Ruardean with us where we caught the bus and sometimes drop in for a drink on the way. This must have been about 1960-1966. The pub was on the right side of the road just past Baker's Piece turning. I remember we were allowed to go into a room on the left of the front door. I think the bar was to the right. I think there was a sign over the front door but it was a long time ago & difficult to remember exactly. Next time I'm around there I'll see if I can recognise anything.
