Cheers, seems like we're both on the Ancestry emailling lists (and to be fair, why not, usually useful info and no pressure sales emails whatsoever). To register its only giving name and email address, no credit card etc.

Just realised I've received this email only this afternoon, well into the "free" period. I wonder if they're getting their time zones mixedup ?. Last year a similar offer was running re Census Records and I was able to successfully use the site for several hours after the midnite "deadline" (no pun intended wrt their service..)
