Hi i was wondering if anyone can help?my family the saysums/saysoms come from lydney and surrounding villages and lived from the 1880s in allastone mesne to the 1940s,on june the 7th 2007 the forester magazine/paper printed an article with photos about the saysom family in a supplement,having emailed the forester many times to try and obtain a copy off this i have never got a reply,does anyone out there have a copy or know how i can obtain one? thankyou

No sure where you are but a visit or call to the "Forester" office in Cinderford would be useful.

Hi,
sorry to hear you didnt get a reply from the Forester, maybe that's a result of the tremendous changes of working practices & increased workloads they've been going thro this last year or so due to change of ownership etc.
As this prior thread shows all the old archives of the DF Mercury, now The Forester, are at Cinderford Library on microfilm, but whether recent ones such as this are too I don't know... but that's presuming you're in the area of course ?

Much as I'd like to I can't promise anything, but I'll email my sister at the paper and try and expedite a reply. Please note tho' she is "only" reception/general assistant and not in a position of power.

PLEASE can you send me a direct email asap to remind me, confirming if W Pattern is the name you used or not, and importantly stating what email address you've been using so I can check if it's still valid, thanks !

Hello jeff thanks for the reply that would be great if you could do that for me,i dont know the email address i used as it was the start of 2011 when i last emailed them,and i got that from the internet,having not got a reply after 4/5 times i just gave up.i live in devon so i cant just pop in either.i will send you my email address direct to you.And thankyou very much indeed
