John Reed b. Taynton 1804/5 (General)

by Snowpenguin @, Wednesday, September 12, 2012, 12:47 (4450 days ago)

John Reed is my great great grandfather, he gave his birthplace as Taynton in the 1851 Census when he was an agricultural labourer living in Blaisdon with his wife Hannah and three children Tom, Sarah and Alice. I have found a baptism at Lydney church for John, son of John and Alice Reed on 28 December 1805 but no other information and the trail just appears to go cold. Has anyone else found any information on this family please

Thank you

Katharine Parker
