Thanks Paul for confirming that, you can hopefully understand my reason for asking, especially as the other details matched so closely. I was not doubting your post, just didnt know your source whether image or transcription.

With my just having LDS for census access, and they're renowned(so I gather) as being inaccurate, it seemed reasonable to hope the Js were Ls etc.

It would appear I should not spend hours searching LDS etc and instead subscribe to Ancestry etc for far quicker and more accurate answers, albeit in my opinion a lot less fun trying to workout answers, as long as they are correct ones of course!.
Ah well live and learn...
