I didn't think that anyone could tell me anything about the Marfell family, so thank you M P Griffiths I had William Robins 1702 in my Family Tree as he married Mary Marfell 1704/1775 at Walford 6 Feb 1734. I had not previously noted his siblings, or parents.

Mary was baptised 11 Jun 1704. You will find it difficult to find using the web site Parish Records as the soundex does not pick out all the possible spelling of Marfell. In fairness the family did start out in the 1500's as Moorfield and I have encountered various spellings since, but the "Family" is now Marfell, so I have rationalised all spellings as Marfell. Mary's parents were John Marfell 1676/1742 & Susanna Smith 1672/1758 married 4 Nov 1699 8 children. The information is on the Ruardean BT's of which I have a copy using the name Mourfield.

John Marfell 1676/1742 was the son of William Marfell 1653/1708 & Mary Yearsley 1653/1712 - married 30 Sep 1676 - 4 children.

I have copied below the will of John Marfell 1676/1742 from you will see other variations of the name, but significantly for you, daughter Mary Robins (who is of course nee Marfell)is mentioned, receiving One Shilling :
