Richard STEPHENS Alvington (General)

by slowhands @, proud of his ancient Dean Forest roots, Saturday, December 08, 2012, 16:41 (4363 days ago) @ mrsbruso

Blakeney Woodside having been extra parochial, the Clarke's attended Newland parish some of the time, and William STEPHENS family attended Lydney parish while living at Blakeney made those seem somewhat more likely, but require a huge leap of faith.

There are a couple of proably Richard STEPHENS/STEVENS events recorded in Alvington in the late 1600's - I hate big assumptions / leaps of faith too, but some times you must look laterally for clues ( and often discard them !! )
