William Beddis married Margaret Brain 2 Feb 1732/3 St Andrew, Awre.

Children born to this marriage appear to be:-

Margaret Beddis the wife of William died and was buried 14 Nov 1742, Awre.

I have two questions.

1. Does anyone know the correct parents of the children born after 1738?

2. Does anyone know which Margaret was buried 14 Nov 1742, Awre?

If this is the father then this Will could be useful if you order from the GRO - costs £6.00 (click on the ordering information on the Gloucester Records Office website)

Could try using the Advance Search for witnesses at weddings to see if you can form family groups.

Gloucestershire Records Office - seem to hold an Overseers Reports on Margaret BEDDIS (singlewoman) of Awre dated - 1773 - Ref: P228 OV 3/3/1/9.

? Perhaps it's to do with the baptism at Newnham - 21 May 1773 of Michael BEDDIS, mother's name: Margaret

I think this is an old tree which was posted a number of years ago when the owner was in Cyprus. He has been on this site saying that it needs updating and although the account is still current he cannot access it.

There are a number of trees on Ancestry showing William Beddis and Margaret Brain, and one which shows William Beddis and Margaret Brain/Williams. I believe the latter is a registered user of this site.
