Duke of York Inn, Monmouth (General)
In the 1881 Census Albert Jones b1849 at St Briavels is Landlord of Duke of York Inn, in the Dixton/Hadnock area of Monmouth. Does anyone know exactly where the Inn was?
Duke of York Inn, Upper Redbrook / Dixton / Staunton
Duke of York Inn, Upper Redbrook, which straddles the border. Historically, the area fell within the parish of Dixton, in the hamlet of Wyesham. so think of the Kymin and the Staunton Road.

Many Thanks, for your prompt reply. From there Albert went on to Farm Broadstone Farm, which is also on the Staunton Road.
