Electoral Registers - Newland/St Briavels - 1930s-1950s (General)
Can anyone advise me where I might be able to find copies of the electoral registers for the Newland/St Briavels area for the period 1930-1960?
Are any copies held locally or is my best bet the British Library?
If I have to go to BL to see them, can anyone tell me what the parliamentary constituency was called at the time? Was it Forest of Dean or West Gloucestershire etc.?
Thanks
Pete
Some of these registers have been transcribed, and are off line for privacy reasons, so Glos Archives is where they are probably held.
