If so then could this Will be his, may well be worth your getting a copy - from the Glos "Non-conformists site" as I call it
http://ww3.gloucestershire.gov.uk/genealogy/Results.aspx
"Will No 83, Year 1818, May 23rd, Thomas Hawker of Frampton on Severn."
I've no doubt you've also seen this Baptism among the "possibles" shown on the LDS site, I think the only one for 1753 within the "area", although this birthyear is subject to error of course.

You're welcome, hope it helps.

Searching LDS doesnt give any likely Baptisms in our area even between 1740 & 1769. I was surprised to see that altho that site's usually very good at offeringup name spelling variants, in my case altho it did so for the surname it didn't also offer Annas etc when I first searched Hannah, so had to repeat the search - odd that.
PS I'm frustrated as I'm convinced I've seen a usefull independent website quoted on this forum during the last 6 months or so which gave early PR transcripts for the Frampton/Fretherne area, but I cannot find it by searching..... I think I need rebooting !

The marriage date puts them "relatively" old - in their 30's - is it possible that Hannah was married before ?

A follow up with info regarding Thomas Hawker.
Thomas Hawker was left money by his mother and through a widow, Mary Moore of Hardwicke, his aunt.
The will of Mary Moore was proved in 1797 (I now have copy) Money was left to various inc. her sister Ann Hawker (mother of Thomas) and sister Betty Cook(e). I've managed to work out that the maiden name of the 3 women was Hawkins.
Betty Hawkins married William Cook - Hardwicke - 1762
Mary Hawkins married William Moore - Hardwicke 1761
All four are buried in Hardwicke cemetery.
I still can't find a marriage of Ann Hawkins and Thomas Hawker (parents of Thomas Hawker born 1756)
Any leads would be gratefully accepted
I hope that the above will be of interested for anyone researching the Hawker, Cook or Moore families.
Thank you so much for providing me with the tips that got me this far

I'll try and follow the leads that you have supplied, Thanks.
One last question:
Betty Hawkins marrying William Cook(e) 25 March 1762
&
Mary Hawkins marrying William Moore 5 Feb 1761
Both couples were married by licence rather than banns. Is this what posh people did or would it be done in a hurry to save awkward questions?
Once again, thanks to all who have helped me.

or
it may be that they lived in different parishes - I think it was cheaper by licence compared to reading Banns in two parishes .....

most REDMAN's father's occupations of the baptism index, appear to be Clothworkers/Weavers/Plaisters/Stone Masons
