Elizabeth JAMES 1830 - 1832 Joyford (General)
(perhaps this also be added to my last post, as the JAMES seems to reside in Joyford)
re: Elizabeth JAMES - christened at Newent, Culver Street Chapel, Methodist - 10 October 1830
there is a burial at Christchurch - 29 February 1832
Elizabeth JAMES - residence: JOYFORD
age: 18 months
Looking at the map, Christchurch to Joyford is 2.6 miles
Elizabeth JAMES
Only just spotted your post here. Poor little lass. Ties in well, indeed. Many thanks, m.p.g. .....
Elizabeth JAMES
PS May I ask where you turned her up ? I can't find her on a PR search ...
Elizabeth JAMES
In case MPG doesnt see this today, perhaps she's out on the golf course, she has access to Ancestry, other LH websites, plus a huge collection of various Gloster Archives cd-roms etc etc as well as this site's PRs. More importantly she's very experienced and exceptionally good at finding things some of us dont readily see, a real boon to the forum.
That said, in this post she's made a small error, the only one I recall seeing in my three years here whereas I make several and bigger ones!, the distance was meant to read 2.6 miles not 26; maybe there's hope for me yet... probably not ;-)

Ah ! I should have reliased that 26 was a bit much ....
