Not sure if this Charles BEDDIS of Yorkely Wood on Lloyd George 1909 Land Survey is any relation, but an interesting site to check for ancestors. Been a while since this site has been discussed, so perhaps more information has been added since then.

Lord George Land Survey 1909

It has come up before and is an invaluable tool for the period around 1910. I have a copy of the large OS map for Soudley and copied out the names of the owners and or occupiers to coincide with the piece numbers on the map. I'm not sure where the records are now. When I accessed it it was in a separate building in Gloucester rather than GCR or the Public Library. Best ring GCR first.
