Which Doris, what an unlucky coincidence, now that's tricky !

To recap what you already know,

From GlosBMD & FreeBMD;

Marriage Details
Groom Surname Groom Forename Bride Surname Bride Forename District Parish Building Year Register Entry
DREW Ivor Jack BEDDIS Doris May Forest of Dean Forest of Dean Register Office 1939 4 44 (Dec qtr)

Registry Office so no Church PR so no mention of Bride's father/family...

Unfortunately the other Doris also married abt this time and in a Registry Office, so again no clues here;

Marriage Details
Groom Surname Groom Forename Bride Surname Bride Forename District Parish Building Year Register Entry
WHITE Sidney Eric BEDDIS Doris May Gloucester Gloucester City Register Office 1938 1 240 (Dec qtr)

I don't know if purchasing the Marriage Records will give more details abt the respective father's, I guess they might but don't know for sure.

As you'll know there are no Burial records in this site's PRs for Doris May Drew or Doris May Beddis.

Therefore need to search for deaths of each bride and hope the given ages correspond to the known Baptisms, altho maybe difficult to find if lived to a decent age.... altho of course they might have remarried particularly after WW2.

"Fortunately", if only for us given her too-young age, I can find this Doris May White's burial in this site's PRs, which appears a perfect fit wrt name & locality;

Record_ID: 8968
Entry_Number: 1936
Year: 1940
Month: Jun
Day: 26
Surname: WHITE
Forenames: Doris May
Residence: Dilke Hospital Cinderford
Age_at_death: 32
Officiating_Minister: Breenes Miller
Event: Burial
Cause_of_death:
Memoranda:
Notes:
Register_Reference: P85/1 IN 1/15
Page_No: 242
Parish_Chapel: Cinderford St John
Soundex: W300

Suggests this Doris was born abt 1908.
Therefore from this site's PRs this seems to match this Baptism;

Record_ID: 76647
Entry_Number: 2266
Year: 1907
Month: Nov
Day: 24
Parents_Surname: BEDDIS
Child_Forenames: Doris May
Fathers_Forenames: Joseph Edward
Mothers_Forenames: Maria
Mothers_Surname:
Residence: Cinderford Bridge
Occupation: Engine Driver
Officiating_Minister: E Lewis Vicar
Event: Baptism
Memoranda: Born Sep 22 1907
Notes:
Register_Reference: P85/1 IN 1/2
Page_Number: 284
Parish_Chapel: Cinderford St John
Soundex: B320

From BMD I think I find husband's Death Record,

Deaths Sep 1964 (>99%)
---------------------------------------------------------
WHITE SIDNEY E 61 F.OF DEAN 7B 3[35]8

Suggesting also born abt 1903, which seems a fair match to Doris b1907.

===================

Therefore it appears the "other" Doris married your Jack, namely;

Record_ID: 339730
Entry_Number:
Year: 1918
Month: Oct
Day: 23
Parents_Surname: BEDDIS
Child_Forenames: Doris May
Fathers_Forenames: Sidney Arthur
Mothers_Forenames: Dorothy May
Mothers_Surname:
Residence: The Fernaces Cinderford
Occupation: collier
Officiating_Minister: F W Baldwin vicar
Event: Baptism
Memoranda:
Notes:
Register_Reference: P85/1 IN 1/3
Page_Number: 52
Parish_Chapel: Cinderford St John
Soundex: B320

Which again is a good match wrt Jack's 1918 birth.

From Ancestry's free search I can find two Death Records for "Doris May Drew, Gloucestershire", one in 1990, another in 2006.

Hopefully someone with full Ancestry access can please advise which, if either, best matches your Doris wrt age and town.
Alternatively it's worth searching the FoD Burials site when that becomes back online, usually it gives age and home address so very useful.
