This John HOULDER witnesses another couple of marriages and do wonder if this surname could possibly be BOUCHER????

and when Thomas BROWN married Sarah LANE by Licence at Hartpury - 6 May 1765

witnesses: John and Anne BUTTLER - ? could this possibly be BUTCHER

Looking at the Licence on Fod records - Thomas BROWN was aged 26 and Sarah LANE aged 36 and a Widow.

Is there a LANE/BUTCHER/BOUCHER/BUTTLER etc connection
