Glad to confirm that you're in the right place. My father was born at Edenwall, Coalway Lane End and we had family still there in the 1950s. Basically it runs from the Coalway cross roads towards Milkwall and ends as the road drops down to Palmer's Flat. It is referred to by that name in Censuses from 1881 forward to 1911. You're probably aware that you sometimes have to search both England and Wales Census records as the area seemed to drift from one to the other for Census purposes. There was an Edenwall Farm (now part of the Bell's Golf Club although the farmhouse is a holiday let).

Edenwall Road runs from Tufthorn Avenue down to Milkwall football club I think Winky might be thinking of this Edenwall. There is a public footpath that runs from this Edenwall Rd up and over Bells golf Course and what was Edenwall farm on the Coalway Road bringing you out at Edenwall at the top of Upper Palmers Flat and Coalway by Gibsons shop.
