Has anyone any information about the various members of the Marfell family who emigrated to New Zealand in the early 20th Century?
I should like to make contact with them if possible.

I have a lot of information about the New Zealand Marfells including pictures of Marfell School and Marfell Beach in New Zealand. There is a Marfell Scholarship and Marfell Post Office. I have met the main Marfell researcher in New Zealand and could see if she would like to email.

I have some Heaven's in my Family tree and met Molly. We are probably related.

My paternal grandmother was a Marfell born in the Forest of Dean.
I am aware that a number of members of the Marfell family emigrated to New Zealand from the Forest over the years and would love to trace their descendents and make contact.
Any assistance with this would be much appreciated.

My paternal grandfather was William (Willie) Frank Heaven who married Ethel Maud Marfell in 1913.

Sorry, I was not aware that I had not been specific enough for you.
I have a number of members of the Marfell family in my tree who were borne in, or around, the Forest but died in New Zealand.
I should like to know when they left and why. Also if there are still living descendents in New Zealand I should be interested in making contact.
If you can help in any of these objectives, I should be most grateful.

Can you give me some names please as their were at least 4 different Marfell families who came to New Zealand and settled in New PLymouth, Christchurch, Dunedin & Marlborough. I am a descendant from the Marlborough one.

Edward & Fanny Marfell emigrated to NZ on the "Wanganui", sorry lost my note saying what year. They had a block of land in New Plymouth named after them & had an estate in Huinga, 12 miles east of Stratford. My parents bought their farm from Les Marfell in 1947. See photos on my Facebook timeline.
