Yemms of Cinderford (General)
Hi Looking for some info on the Yemms. My Nan was Albina Frances Ethel Yemm born 1923 died 1998. I know very little them about as my Grandad Douglas Haig Rippin and Nan divorced and they both remarried.Grandad then Married Ethel Maud Colbear from Maldon and he back to Poplar where he was originally from.ALbina married Idwal Price in 1947.She was the daughter of Allan Yemm 1887-1939 and Ellen Miles 1893-? As far as i can discover her Brothers were Tom Yemm 1916-1941 and Robert 1929. i've discovered that a lot of the family were from Steam Mills and Ruarden and lived in high street Cinderford at one time. Any help most appreciated
Thanks

Yemms of Cinderford
Hi Darren, just to let you know I have some Yemm family members in my tree. Thomas Yemm 1864-1920 married my 3rd cousin x 3 removed, Mary Malson, on 29/03/1891 at Lybrook. As far as I know they had children, Mary b 1892, Emily b 1898 and William b 1900 all in the Abersychan area of Monmouthshire.
Hope this helps.
Regards, David

Unless you give more specific names etc then difficult to help you further.

Yemms of Cinderford
Thought this would be the best post to comment on as a lot haven’t seen action in a few years. My surname is Boseley, it seems there’s no Yemm’s in the family now.. curious to find out more!
