Joseph Simmonds (General)
Thank you for your research and thoughts. I think CDCL does stand for Cinderford & District Cribbage League. The front of the fob has an inset of rose gold so they must have had funds. The newspaper article looks interesting so I will follow it up. Joseph Simmonds was the son of Joseph and Dinah nee Morgan of Cinderford.
