William Taylor (General)

Hello,

Need help with finding William Taylor married Sophia Jones in 1841 at Walford. The info states that Thomas Taylor was William's father. I have searched for a Thomas Taylor, but found nothing, let alone his mother. Age of William when married was 23, which makes him born 1818 ???? Grooms res Walford, was he born there, or did he move there from elsewhere ?????
