GILBERT COLEFORD AND SHIREHAMPTON (General)

Hi Troops,
I am looking for a possible connection to my Gilbert family of Shirehampton to the Gilbert's of Forest of Dean. The other attached family names of Thomas, Cox, Edwards, Ford and Cecil may also attract attention.
My William Gilbert was born circa 1857 and was buried St. Marys Shirehampton 26.12.1819. He married 30.10.1800 WestburyOnTrym to Honor Edwards [nee Thomas]. His father maybe Richard Gilbert of Newland parish.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
