This entry must refer to the father of the William PRIDE/PRIDER/PUDE baptised at Newland in 1815 and suggests that the surname must be PRIDE.
BNA Gloucester Journal - Monday 28 October 1811
SERVANT ABSCONDED
WHEREAS WILLIAM HARDING, Servant in Husbandry to Mr John Pride, Farmer of Longney, in the Parish of Newland, and County of Gloucester, left his Master’s Service on Sunday, the 21st inst. He is about five feet four in height, thin made, has a mark under his nose; and is a native of Badgington. – Any Person found harbouring or employing him after this Notice, will be prosecuted to the utmost rigour of the law.

British-History tells us that Longney is now Longley. It is a farm and can be found on Streetmap a short distance south of Clearwell .
