Cornelius Hale born at a West Dean in about 1817 (General)

Thanks for responding so quickly. Yes that is the correct family.

So far I have tried all the marriages for both Blanch and Hale families from 1790 through to 1850, looking for links. So far I have only found
the marriages for Cornelius Hale, William Blanch, Marie Hale which connect through witnesses, also the 1841 census which match the Blanch and the Hale families.

Regarding the years of birth, during the 1800s there was not the same regulation as now so people put what they liked.
