COLEFORD PETTY SESSIONS Tuesday, before Mr. T. H. Deakin (in the chair), Major Perceval, Mrs. E. Hicks, Messrs. J. J. Joynes, W. A. Bennett, and E. B. Barter. Fines of 5/- and 10/- were imposed by the magistrates in a number of Education cases brought forward by the County authorities. The defendants were Charles Howard. Drybrook, near Coleford, summoned by Mr. Isaac Willis, Mary Eliza Townsend, The Scowles, summoned by Mr. Riley Brown and Ernest Bennett and Joseph Lane, of Lydbrook, summoned Mr. William Pace. Howard was fined 5/-, Mrs. Townsend 5/-, Ernest Bennett 10/-, and in the case of Lane, orders were made that the three children should attend school.
