Hi Sandra, I was intending to say more-or-less what MPG has just done, but she pipped me at the post. Ah well, in case it helps, here are links to your previous threads on this subject over the years.

Also, I expect you've seen them, may even have been mentioned on this forum in past, but here's a few other sites discussing Hiatts of Dean back to the 1300s.

Hi Sandra
"from the parish" just means that they were living in the parish at the time of the wedding.
It does not necessarily mean that they were born there.

No probs M, hope you've been on the greens lately, beautiful hot sunshine here today !
Fwiw my method is
1. find the relevant thread post/page within the forum
2. copy that thread's heading and paste into a search engine which is opened on a separate window/tab, and add the words "dean forum" or similar on the end of the entry.
3. hopefully the search will find the relevant page of the forum, but this time the precise web address now displays in full at top of screen, so can be copy & pasted back into the new reply.
Must be an easier way, but works for my cronky old pc/user.

Hi Sandra
I don't know whether this helps or not but one of my 4th Great Aunts, Phoebe Toomey , born in Churcham ( 1796-1847 ) married a John Hyett ( 1786- 1866) in Tibberton on 26th October 1815. Records also record both of them as being from Tibberton Parish, although I have John Hyatt as being born in Churcham with parents Edward Hyatt and Hannah Johnes.
I have both Edward and Hannah as being buried in Tibberton.
Regards
Sid Toomey
