John Ballinger (General)
Reported in Cheltenham Chronicle 20 July 1843. "On Monday July 17 1843 a John Ballinger was brought up and charged with stealing a quantity of potatoes, the property of Joseph Walker, who deposed that they corresponded in every respect with a description of potatoes growing in his garden, but he could not exactly swear to them. The prisoner was consequently discharged."
