If only I'd know in advance the pub was a red brick building lol, it never occurred to me it would still be there.
I find using the overlay maps from NLS helps to locate buildings as you can overlay the old maps onto current ones so it's easy to identify the current location.

Use the transparency tool on the left to switch between old an new maps.
