You could follow the Enumerator's route - which are on Page 1 of both the 1851 and 1861 census


The 1861 is a bit faint to read .....

'and on the west of Edge Hills Enclosures to Westbury Brook works and on the south of Edge Hill enclosure to Fairplay works.

The district includes Fairplay green 'part of the Plump' Plump Hill and Horsepool Bottom.'
