Found that Elijah Herbert was sent to the hired convict ship ,The Cornwall from Northampton Goal, He was to sent Gibraltar 5 Feb 1851
The hired convict ship would takenconvicts to work in Gibraltar and continue to,NSW Van Diemans Land with convicts from Gibrltarvwho,would be given tickets of leave on their arrival,
Record shows that Elijah Herbert was received 17 April 1850 at Northampton Find My Past ..Record of prisoners in the county prisons of Northampton HO23
He had been convicted at Hereford but had also been bailed to appear at
Gloucester after being convicted at Hereford ..
I have these records on my Powys family tree on Ancestry I am powysa@aol.com

I have been researching Robert Hawker, William Hawker, William Fennell, and others who have formed a gang I have called The Cinderford Gang .
