Charlotte JONES 1863 Shortstanding (General)
The 2nd suspect seems most likely as the marriage at Monmouth, Sept. 1891 fits in between the death of Enoch Watkins' 1st wife Harriet Parry in March 1891 and the birth of Malcom Watkins to Charlotte in 1892.
Siblings Thomas and Edward Watkins (1861 census) are remembered by my mother who also recalls that Edward Jones was awarded the George Cross after the battle of Reurks Drift. In later life Edward (Ted) lived more peacefully at Quay Row, Lower Lydbrook.
Many thanks for such a helpful response.
