Lucy Drew connects with my lot (Hayes/Drew) and you might be interested to know that she had an illegitimate son Edgar Ernest baptised 21st August 1860 and brought up by his grandparents George and Mary Drew.

I find it interesting that in 1861 Edgar is down as "Daur's Son" (distinct touch of nothing to do with us), but by 1871 everyone has got used to the situation and he's become "GSon". Obviously he didn't go with his mother when she married. Maybe she wasn't marrying his father?
