EX-PAR of St Briavels (General)

In an 1836 Lea marriage record I find the residences of the bride and groom given as " ex-par area of The Hundred Of St Briavels".
Could someone tell me where that was?
Thank you.

ex-par "probably" is short hand for extra - parocial , i.e any land in the Hundred of St Briavels that is not within a formal Parish.

Most often this is the central area of The Forest often referred to as East Dean and West Dean i.e. not in the Parishes of ( clockwise) Newland, English Bicknor, Ruardean, Mitcheldean, Abenhall,Flaxley, Littledean, Westbury on Severn, Newnham, Awre/Blakeney, Lydney...

So for Lea that could be the land around Wigpool Common
