I have a Teague database, this is what I have for John 1763, the other family listed was for a John born 1755 who married an Elizabeth Burrough in 1781. I hope it helps.

First Generation

1. John TEAGUE was born circa 1735 place unknown, marriage states of Walford.

John married Elizabeth Howls on 10 Jun 1762 in Walford, Hereford, England. Elizabeth was born about 1740 Of Walford, Hereford, England.

They had the following children:

+ 2 M i. JOHN TEAGUE was christened on 11 Sep 1763. He was buried on 7 Jul 1817.

+ 3 F ii. Ann TEAGUE was christened on 20 Nov 1768.

4 M iii. William TEAGUE was christened on 28 Jun 1772 in Walford, Hereford, England.

5 M iv. Daniel TEAGUE was christened on 29 Sep 1776 in Walford, Hereford, England.

6 M v. Thomas TEAGUE was christened on 19 Mar 1780 in Walford, Hereford, England.


Second Generation

2. JOHN TEAGUE 1 (John) was christened on 11 Sep 1763 in Walford, Hereford, England. He was buried on 7 Jul 1817 in Walford, Hereford, England.

Thanks everyone! Could anyone attempt to either discover when "Teague's Point" was built on Lays Hill or find any evidence of John Teague Snr in Walford before his marriage in 1762?

Teague's Point is the building/farm that was the home of William Teague and his family. William was the only son of John Teague b. 1763

Teagues Point is just above the cottage "Jacobs Ladder" where John Teague's grandson Charles (my great-great-great grandfather) lived with his youngest daugther Bessie before he died in 1919, my grandparents now reside there , my grandmother is Charles great-granddaugther.

It fascinated me that Teagues are still living in Walford. Let me know if you get a trace of earlier Teagues... I expect ill start searching again when the winter sets in.
