thanks to your brilliant site I have found the marriage of eliza Godwin and Henry Brown in Abenhall in 1834, does such a church/place still exist? are the records still kept there? would there be additional info in the parish records themselves as no info re: age, parents, occupation have been given??

Abenhall is still there !

The transcription you see should be a faithful record of what is in the Register, you will have to infer, and confirm the parents etc from multiple sources ( if you are lucky )
