Information I have from Jim Ashton gives a first wife's name as Charlotte (born c1829 Abenhall and marriage c1848) and a daughter Julia born 1849. Second marriage then follows 30Dec1860.

I cannot trace the marriage in the Parish Records but BMD indexes give George Meek marrying Charlotte Gough (Ross 1849 Q2 26 385)

Elizabeth's father Aaron Harris's first marriage was to Winifred Baldwin 21.2.1829 Abenhall, with whom he had a son William. Winifred buried 26.6.1837 Forest Church.

Although George was already my 3rd cousin 5 times removed, his son Timothy married my G G Aunt Lydia Marfell.
